Admissions Process
At Southeast Addiction Center we recognize the sensitive nature that surrounds the process of seeking and receiving care for mental health concerns and substance abuse issues.
Seeking out alcohol or drug rehab is one of the most courageous things you can do in your life. We know it isn’t easy to acknowledge a problem like addiction because of how it requires you to rearrange and reframe many aspects of your life.
At Southeast Addiction Center we recognize the sensitive nature that surrounds the process of seeking and receiving care for mental health concerns and substance abuse issues. Millions of people around the world suffer at the hands of their addictions and they do so in the darkness of denial.
If you are reading this for yourself, or to get a loved one the help they require, you have already taken a critical step that many people fail to take and pay terribly for it. All admissions to Southeast are made on an individualized basis. Each person’s unique needs, concerns, and treatment goals are thoroughly reviewed, and admissions will be based on those specifiers.
To begin, all you have to do is call our admissions department where our dedicated and experienced team can answer any questions you may have about our drug rehab and the admissions process. We understand this is a difficult call to make, be we urge you to make it nonetheless. At our Georgia drug and alcohol rehab, we strongly believe in compassion and understanding as foundational pillars to helping people get into recovery.
In addition, there are also some basic criteria that applicants must meet. Applicants must be:
- Ages 18 or older
- Able to perform activities of daily living
- Demonstrate a willingness to participate in treatment
The second step is a background assessment where we wish to learn more about your treatment history, history with substance use disorders, if you have any medical conditions, and your psychiatric history. Knowing this information is crucial to us being able to formulate care that is highly individualized to your unique circumstances.
The presence of addictions and/or mental health concerns impact not only the individual who is suffering from them, but his or her family members and loved ones as well. At Southeast, our drug rehab recognizes this fact and therefore strives to help prospective client’s family members with the same dedication that we offer to those who are entrusted into our care.
If you are concerned about your loved one, you are welcome to contact our admissions department at any time. Just as we do for those who are interested in receiving our services, we will provide you with the kindness and encouragement that you need in order to make you feel comfortable with the process at hand.
We are ready to answer your questions, discuss the options for care that we have available, and assist you in making the most beneficial decision for your loved one. When you contact us, we provide a friendly and understanding voice, a personal, free, and private consultation, and recommend intervention services, if needed.
Currently, assessments can be completed between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday through Sunday. However, if you need to speak with someone outside of our business hours, we utilize offsite admissions coordinators for after-hours calls so that everyone always has the ability to speak with someone whenever is most convenient for them.
