Practical questions

Care should make room for the questions you have before a call.

No promises are made here. These are the topics an admissions conversation should help you understand.

Work

Can I continue working?

OP may involve fewer scheduled sessions than IOP, but exact timing and attendance expectations must be confirmed before planning work around care.

Phone / laptop

What about phones and laptops?

Clients may keep their laptops and cell phones throughout the day. During group hours, they simply turn them in; outside of group hours, they can use them as needed.

What care can look like

OP means outpatient care: scheduled treatment with clients attending in person from home or virtually from home. Southeast Addiction Center offers housing for those who need it; admissions can discuss the options.

01

Review the need

An assessment helps determine whether OP offers the appropriate support or whether another level should be discussed.

02

Plan visits

The team confirms the actual visit pattern, session duration, and attendance expectations.

03

Continue the conversation

A plan may be reassessed if needs change; a transition is a clinical discussion, not a guarantee.

Insurance & admissions

Understand the process before you decide.

Starting a treatment conversation should not mean making an uninformed financial or clinical decision.

We work with private insurance for eligible treatment. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. Our admissions team can check your benefits and explain coverage and expected out-of-pocket costs before you decide whether to proceed. Verification is not a guarantee of coverage or admission.
